Sandra Lee from the Food Network loves her "tablescapes" and while I don't want to go completely overboard like she does, does anyone have any good ideas for table decorations for Thanksgiving? I have an itch to do a craft project this weekend. I was thinking about spray painting mini pumpkins gold, but not sure if that's too tacky...

ReplyDeleteI am really into mixing seasonal items in mason jars. It is very rustic & homey. I like to put cranberries or cinnamon sticks or walnuts into mason jars as well as flowers. The mason jars are low, so you can see the person across from you easily.
I also really like to get the little pumpkins & gourds and mix into a clear vase. I use the volcano-ish shape from the wedding for mine.
Not sure how formal you are getting, but for place card holders the little mini pumpkins or wine corks are great for that too.
